What is a pocket diaper?
A pocket diaper is made up of an inner layer of microfleece and an outer water proof layer with an open space between them. You can choose from a variety of inserts to stuff between the two layers, in the amount you need to keep baby dry.
What are some of the advantages of using pocket diapers?
Pocket diapers are easy to use. There is no folding or pinning required, and they have a waterproof outter layer so you don't have to use a separate diaper and cover. Because you can remove the absorbent insert these diapers dry quickly. Pocket diapers are also trim fitting but you can add extra inserts if you need more absorbancy for a heavy wetter or for use during naps or at nighttime.
